i see cormorants

After many years dedicated to photography and wildlife observation, I ended up noticing the discreet continuity with which cormorants have ended up occupying a very important part of my portfolio. The most amazing things in life are often closer than we might think.

I feel a deep fascination for its slender figure, its intense green eyes, its recognisable silhouette, and its visual impact when it spreads its wings, a behaviour that by the way we still don't know what it's for.

In this series I have recapitulated images created over the years, some of them just a few minutes from my home, others, many thousands of kilometers away.

Birds are the daily memory of the tie that binds us to the earth.
