personal
I was born in A Coruña, Spain, in 1975.
Passionate about Nature and Photography in equal parts, it was unavoidable to end up being a nature photographer. You cannot create a good photograph of something you don't care about.
I believe that Nature photography can contribute to spread the message of conservation. There is no greater reward for an image than to get another person to want to
preserve a living being or a place.
I conceive photography as a personal interpretation of reality, a different view of our environment, to which we must contribute the value of our creativity... and at the same time, being faithful to the reality of light, the commitment to the observer on the veracity of a photographic image. In Stieglitz's words, I try to make my photography the result of "what I see and what I feel". All my effort is oriented to incorporate in my work the emotion that I feel being part of the natural environment.
Awarded and highlighted in some of the main international photography contests in recent years, such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Photo Montier, Golden turtle, Melvita, Asferico, Memorial Maria Luisa and Montphoto.
I have been published in several books and magazines, such as Asferico Magazine, The Guardian, and BBCs A perfect planet.
